TBILISI, Jan.29(Xinhua)-- An explosion occurred in a residential building in Azerbaijan' s capital Baku, local media reported on Monday.
According to local Azeri News Agency, the blast happened in a five-story building in the Nizami district of the capital.
Reportedly, the explosion was triggered by the gas leak in the second floor. The building was seriously damaged by the blast and several people were feared to be buried in the debris.
Rescuers have arrived at the scene to put out the fire and save the people affected.
