3D painting seen on walls in NW China

Combo photo taken on Dec. 20, 2017 shows 3D paintings on the wall in Qianzhuang Village of Guyuan City, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Located in the remotest mountainous region of Ningxia, Qianzhuang Village used to be one of the most underdeveloped areas in whole China. Local authorities tried very hard to eliminate poverty. To promote its tourism, the village invited art teachers and students to paint the walls with 3D patterns. The vivid paintings and rural homestay attracted many tourists, providing extra earnings for the villagers. (Xinhua/Wang Peng)
