MOSCOW, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton in the Kremlin Wednesday, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a daily briefing.
Peskov told reporters that Bolton will meet the Russian Security Council, a consultative body of the Russian president composed of key ministers and agency heads, and he will also meet Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov.
However, the spokesman declined to comment on reports of a potential meeting between Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Bolton is now meeting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and he will possibly give a press conference on the outcome of his visit later in the day.
