SUVA, July 23 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese naval hospital ship Ark Peace will visit Fiji for a humanitarian mission from Aug. 2-9, Chinese Ambassador Qian Bo said on Monday.
Qian told a press briefing that he invited Fijians to visit the Port of Suva to receive free screenings, treatments and medication from the Ark Peace.
The level of service to be provided from the hospital ship is of very high standard, said the ambassador.
Qian said as part of the mission, Chinese medical teams will be deployed to the Raiwaqa, Makoi and Lami medical centers for three days.
The visit is part of the hospital ship's Mission Harmony 2018.
