BEIJING, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture of Kizilsu in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 19:08 Thursday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at about 39.08 degrees north latitude and 74.75 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said in a statement.
