BEIJING, April 19 (Xinhua) -- A motorcycling ride event will kick off on April 27, covering 11 cities across China and Russia to commemorate the friendship between the two countries.
The opening ceremony of "Road to Friendship" China-Russia motorcycle ride will be held in Russian Embassy in Beijing on April 27. The event is organized by Russia International Motoclub "Risk" and supported by Russian Embassy in China.
The ride tour will go through 11 cities from Beijing to Saint Petersburg, which has attracted more than 20 motorcycle riders from China and Russia.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Chinese-Russian relations and the second Russia-China Year of Regional Cooperation.
According to the organizer, this motorcycle riding event aims to boost tourism and strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The closing ceremony will take place on June 4 in Moscow.
