BEIRUT, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The Lebanese army received on Wednesday a number of HESCO military fortifications barriers from the United States, the National News Agency reported.
The army received the new equipment within the framework of the U.S. military aid to Lebanon.
On April 16, the Lebanese army also received military equipment valued at 15 million U.S. dollars from the United States.
The United States is the biggest provider of military aid to Lebanon, as the Lebanese army has received a total of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in military aid from successive American administrations since the 2006 war with Israel.
